MARYLAND FRIED CHICKEN | |
Have butcher cut a small frying chicken into 4 parts. W ash and dry thoroughly. Sprinkle with flour, pepper and salt. Use a baking pan that has a cover. Heat butter. Put chicken in and fry until brown on each side. This will take about seven minutes. Add to this a cup of milk. Cover and cook slowly for half an hour on top of stove. |
