BARBEQUE SPARE RIBS 
Cut meat ribs in serving portions. Brown on both sides in heavy frying pan. Add sauce (see below). Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Spoon sauce over ribs several times during baking. Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes longer. Serve.

SAUCE:

Simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors: 3 tbsp. onion soup mix or 2 onions, cut fine 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
