MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 c. hot coffee
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and cocoa. In a separate bowl, add baking powder to flour and mix alternately with milk to butter mixture. Add baking soda to coffee and add to mixture. Add vanilla and beat well (the batter will be thin).

Pour into two 8 inch greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let cakes cool, then remove from pans.
