APPLE BUTTER POUND CAKE 
3 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. apple butter

Stir together flour and spices. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add and heat eggs one at a time. Combine buttermilk and apple butter. Then add alternately with flour mixture mixing well after each addition.

Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Toothpick should come out clean.

Can be made 2 to 4 layers and frosted with cream cheese frosting or vanilla butter frosting.
