HARD TACK CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water

Boil until reaches 295 degrees on candy thermometer. Turn heat off and add 1/2 teaspoon color and 1/2 teaspoon flavored oil. Grease cookie sheet. Pour and score until cool. Turn out on powdered sugar and crack.
