2 c. crushed strawberries (about 1 qt. ripe fruit)
4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 box Sure Jell (fruit pectin)

Thoroughly mix fruit and sugar in large bowl, let stand 10 minutes. Mix water and fruit pectin in small saucepan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir into fruit. Continue stirring 3 minutes. Ladle quickly into 6 (1 cup) containers. Cover at once with tight lids. Let stand overnight then store in freezer.
