SCALLOPED POTATOES 
4 med. potatoes
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. milk
Pinch of grated nutmeg or dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Grease a baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange 1/2 the potato slices in bottom of dish. Sprinkle with half the flour; dot with half the butter. Repeat with remaining potatoes, flour and butter. Heat milk in a pan until tiny bubbles begin to form around the edge of pan. Season with nutmeg or mustard, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over potatoes. Bake for 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender.
