SUPPER ON BREAD | |
1 loaf French bread 2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk Salt and pepper 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese Split French bread in half lengthwise. Hollow out centers so they resemble canoes. Mix remaining ingredients (only 2 cups of cheese) and pack into hollowed out bread. Wrap foil around bread, leaving meat uncovered. Bake about 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup cheese on top and return to oven until it melts. Cut and serve. |
