HOT FRUIT CASSEROLE 
Pears
Pineapple chunks
Peaches
Apricots
Whit cherries
1 box brown sugar
2 sticks butter
Spice: 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 lg. jar applesauce

Drain fruit thoroughly and grease large casserole. Start filling pan beginning with layer of pears, sugar, butter, spices, applesauce. Layer of each fruit until all used. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

(For holidays might warm applesauce and add 1/2 cup red hots.)

Great with "Sausage Surprise Casserole" for large family breakfast.
