1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
4 heaping cups flour
1 level tsp. baking soda
2 rounded tsp. baking powder

ICING:

Grated rind and juice of 1 naval orange
2 tbsp. butter
Confectioners sugar to stiffen

Cream eggs, sugar, and butter. Sift dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients. Drop and bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 10 minutes. Frost with orange icing while cookies are still slightly warm.
