BAKED MACARONI 
SAUCE:

2 cans (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
Olive oil
1/4 tsp. basil
Onion, 1 med. size
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Pepperoni, 1 lg. stick or 2 sm. sticks

Saute onion in olive oil; add tomato paste and 3 cans of water per can of paste. Add oregano, basil, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Allow to simmer for about 2 hours. Add thinly sliced pepperoni, while simmering.

MEAT BALLS:

1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

In bowl combine all ingredients; combine thoroughly; form into 1 inch diameter balls and fry in hot fat. Drop into simmering tomato sauce.

Hard cook eggs (3); chop into small and medium pieces.
Mozzarella cheese, 1 (8 oz.) ball, shredded
Rigatoni, cooked to directions on package

In large baking dish layer ingredients starting and ending with sauce. In this order: sauce, rigatoni, meat balls, pepperoni, cheese, egg, and beginning with sauce again. The completed dish should be at least 3 layers thick. Cover with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to set for 5 to 10 minutes.
