CHICKEN CONTINENTAL 
3 lbs. frying chicken, cut in pieces
1/3 c. seasoned flour
1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 tbsp. grated onion
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. celery flakes
1 1/3 c. water
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (condensed)
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 c. Minute rice

(Or 4 boneless chicken breasts - make it quick and easy).

Roll chicken in flour; brown in butter. Remove chicken, stir in soup, seasonings and water into drippings. Cook and stir to boil, add rice. Pour rice mixture into shallow casserole dish. Layer chicken on top. Bake covered for 30 minute at 375 degrees or until tender.

Makes 4 servings.
