8 (6 inch) flour tortillas 2 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/4 c. sour cream 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded Hot or mild taco sauce (optional) Steam tortillas or warm in microwave, approximately 10 seconds each between two wet paper towels. In large bowl mix Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Spread mixture evenly on four tortillas, top with remaining tortillas, press gently to seal. Cut each tortilla into eight wedges. Place on large cookie sheet and top with remaining Cheddar. Broil 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is just melted or place on microwave safe plate and heat 30-45 seconds until cheese melts. Serve warm. Spoon taco sauce over if you like. |
