1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
1 c. milk
1/4 c. soft butter
1 egg
1 (6 or 12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients, beat until very stiff dough forms. Mix in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes, or until golden brown.
