FRIED GREEN TOMATOES 
Slice 3 or more solid green tomatoes at least 1/3 inch thick. Lightly mix together:

2 eggs
1/4 c. milk

Dip tomatoes into egg mixture. Then into flour on each side. Fry in Crisco or oil until brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.

You can increase flavor three fold by doing two things. Use 1/2 flour and 1/2 corn meal together... As you are frying - on each side... sprinkle "lemon pepper". This alone will enhance the flavor more than you will ever know.
