SCALLOPED RUTABAGAS (TURNIPS) | |
1 lb. rutabagas 1 stick butter 1 c. beef broth (can make with bouillon cube) 2 tbsp. sugar Peel and slice rutabagas. Cook, covered for 10 minutes in butter and broth. Place all in buttered pie plate and sprinkle sugar on top to brown and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Can prepare a day ahead and bake the next day. |
