FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 1/2 c. self rising flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 can (2 1/2 cups) fruit cocktail

Mix all ingredients well. Bake at 300 degrees for about 60 minutes in a well greased and floured pan. Use a large pan. Leave cake in pan. ice with following.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter

Boil for 5 minutes. Do not let stick. Stir while cooking. Remove from heat and add 1 cup of chopped pecans, 1 cup flaked coconut and then spread on cake. You may brown top for a few minutes if desired.
