MEXICAN 1 POT DINNER 
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sliced onions
1/2 lb. ground beef
4 oz. uncooked macaroni (1 1/2 c.)
1 lg. pepper, seeded and cut in 1 inch strips
1 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 or more tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

In heavy skillet, put oil, add onions and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add beef and noodles to skillet. Cook 3 to 5 minutes while stirring, until meat has lost color. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 30 minutes over low heat, stirring 4 to 5 times. Makes about 4 to 5 cups.
