FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

BASE:

1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 c. oil
1 c. water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan. Blend all filling ingredients, beat until smooth and creamy. Mix recipe works best when you use a Pillsbury Plus cake mix. If not then prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of batter into pan. Pour filling over and spread. Pour remaining batter over. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. Cover with fudge frosting.
