RICE PUDDING 
4 c. rice (minute)
4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter

Boil water, add salt and butter, then add rice. Cover, remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes, fluff with fork. Next:

2 lg. boxes vanilla pudding (not the instant)
6 c. milk
2 tbsp. vanilla or a little more
1 1/2 c. sugar or a little more

Cook all together - when pudding thickens mix rice and pudding together, sprinkle with nutmeg.
