EMERGENCY BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. warm water 1 cake yeast 2/3 c. quick oatmeal 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar 2-3 c. flour 1 tbsp. oil Put yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, oatmeal in the rest (1 cup) water to soften. Mix yeast-oatmeal in large bowl. Add sugar, salt and oil. Stir in flour to real thick dough. Put on greased cookie sheet and make 2 flat breads, prick with fork, let raise. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. |
