PEANUT BUTTER TOFFEE BARS 
2/3 c. butter
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white Karo syrup

Melt butter and pour over other items. Mix all together. Spread on bottom of a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

FROSTING:

2/3 c. peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt together and spread over bars. Cool and cut into squares.
