POLYNESIAN BEEF | |
2 lb. boneless round steak, cut 1 1/2 inches thick 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. teriyaki sauce 3 med. tomatoes, cut into wedges 3 green onions, cut into 1/2 inch slices 1 med. green pepper, cut into 1/2 inch strips 1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts Slice steaks into strips 3 x 1 1/2 inch. Melt butter in large skillet to brown meat over medium heat. Mix water, teriyaki sauce; pour over meat. Cover, simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Add tomatoes, green onion, green pepper and water chestnuts. Simmer 15 minutes longer. Serve with steam cooked rice. 6 servings. |
