2 lb. round steak (cut in 1" cubes)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. oil
5 carrots, pared & cut into 1" pieces
3 potatoes, pared & cut into 1" pieces
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Coat beef with flour, salt and pepper; toss with oil in 3 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes; stir once. Add remaining ingredients. Cover, bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
