RASPBERRY SQUARES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. butter, softened
1 egg
10 oz. jar preserves

Combine all ingredients except preserves with a fork until it's a crumb mixture. Reserve 1 1/2 cups mixture. Press the rest into a greased 8 inch square pan. Spread preserves leaving 1 inch around pan. Sprinkle remaining mixture over. Bake 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool a long time before cutting into squares.
