CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE 
1 can corned beef
1 head cabbage
Water
Salt and pepper to taste

Separate corned beef into small pieces. Place in a 6-quart covered pan. Add water to cover well. Slice cabbage into shreds, and add to corned beef. Bring to a slow boil, then simmer until cabbage until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes. Serves 6.
