BEEF VEGETABLE CHOWDER | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 2 c. canned tomatoes 4 c. hot water 2 bouillon cubes 1 tbsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 bay leaf 1 c. sliced celery 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. noodles 1 pkg. mixed frozen vegetables 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. thyme Cook beef and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, water, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, bay leaf, celery and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add noodles, mixed vegetables and thyme. Bring to a boil and cook 15 minutes. |
