FRUIT PIZZA | |
8 oz. pkg. sugar cookies 1/2 c. sugar 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla 1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling 1 large can fruit cocktail, drained 1 small can pineapple tidbits, drained Bake sugar cookies on pizza pan; cool. Mix sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. Spread on cooled cookie. Chill cherry or strawberry pie filling, fruit cocktail and pineapple. Add to cookie in above order. Garnish with coconut, nuts and bananas. Remember, bananas turn so add them just before serving! May be left unrefrigerated for a few hours but refrigerate for best results. Any fresh fruit of your choice may be added. Sugar Cookie: 2/3 c. shortening 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 4 tsp. milk 2 c. flour Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla, then add egg, milk and flour. Mix. Roll out on wax paper very thin. Measure pizza pan to cookie. May need to refrigerate on wax paper to be able to pull off to pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 325°F. Cool. |
