STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. milk

Mix together and pat in pie pan. Prick. Bake at 425 degrees until brown.

FILLING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tbsp. Karo syrup (white)

Stir and boil mixture until clear and thick. Remove from heat. Add 3 tablespoons strawberry Jello powder. Cool 5 minutes. Add 1 quart cleaned berries. Pour into crust and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream.
