2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c.sour milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
Rind of 1 orange, grind
1 c. raisins

ICING:

Juice of 1 orange
1 c. brown sugar

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add this gradually. Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350 degrees until tester comes out clean.

ICING: Combine orange juice and brown sugar. Let set until melted. Stir occasionally. Pour over cake while hot.
