FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
#2 can drained cocktail
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
(White may be used)
1 c. chopped raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

Measure and sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Work with a spoon until shortening and sugar are soft. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, raisins, cocktail, vanilla and almond extract. Add dry ingredients and drop by spoon. Bake at 375 degrees from 10-12 minutes. Nuts may be added.
