3 c. white corn meal
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cooking oil

Sift dry ingredients together. Add buttermilk. Mix well and add eggs and blend well. Put oil in baking pan and preheat in 450 degree oven. Pour batter into pan and cook until golden brown.
