FRUIT PIZZA | |
1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip 1 c. confectioners sugar 3/4 c. prepared orange juice Fruit (sliced bananas, strawberries, pineapple, etc.) 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. water Step 1 (Crust) : Slice the cookie dough 1/4 inch and arrange on greased pizza pan. Press out over pan like a crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until brown. Let cool. Step 2 (Filling) : Beat cream cheese, 1/2 of 8 ounce Cool Whip, and confectioners sugar with mixer until smooth and creamy. Spread on crust. Step 3 (Fruit) : Start with sliced bananas. Add any other fruit you would like such as strawberries, pineapple, peaches, plums, kiwi, etc. Step 4 (Glaze - keeps fruit fresh) : Combine orange juice, cornstarch, and water. Stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Add lemon juice and let cool. Spoon over fruit and refrigerate until ready to serve. |
