RUBY FOGG'S SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
4 oz. butter
1/4 c. oyster liquor
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 pt. sm. oysters
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. light cream

Mix bread, cracker crumbs and melted butter. Drain oysters, save liquor. Put 1/3 crumbs in buttered shallow baking dish. Cover with 1/2 of the oysters, then 1/3 crumbs and remainder of oysters. Not more than 2 layers of oysters.

Combine oyster liquor, salt, pepper and cream. Pour over layers. Sprinkle remainder of buttered crumbs over top. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
