SWEET AND SOUR SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. salt

Chop and mix cabbage, green pepper and onion. Sift 1 cup sugar on top; DO NOT STIR. Mix and bring to the remaining ingredients. Pour hot marinade over cabbage. DO NOT STIR. Cover tightly. Chill. Do not stir or uncover for 4 hours. Will keep 10 days in the refrigerator.
