EGO BATTER BUNS 
1 c. warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. soft butter or shortening

Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Sprinkle in yeast, stir until dissolved. Stir in sugar and half the flour and salt. Beat with spoon until smooth. Add egg and butter. Beat in rest of flour until smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl.
