3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. mashed cooked sweet potatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. vegetable oil
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. water

Combine oil, sugar, and eggs. Beat in sweet potatoes. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Divide into 3 round pans and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
