CINCINNATI CHILI 
2 lbs. hamburger (don't brown first)
2 chopped onions
1 qt. water

Combine above ingredients. Simmer together for 30 minutes. Add: (don't drain off water)

2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 drops Tabasco sauce

Simmer, uncovered for 2 to 3 hours until thickened. Refrigerate overnight.

Serve over thin spaghetti with any or all of the following:

1. Shredded cheddar cheese

2. Chopped onions

3. Kidney beans

4. Oyster crackers
