LEMON PIE SQUARES 
1 pkg. Pillsbury plus lemon cake mix
1/4 c. butter, softened
3 egg yolks, reserve whites
1 c. coconut

Combine cake mix, butter, egg yolks and coconut. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Press in ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

After baked spread with:

LEMON FILLING:

1 (22 oz.) can lemon pie filling

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar

Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar. Beat until soft peaks form. Spread over lemon filling. Return to oven 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. Let cool. Cut in squares. Makes 12 servings.
