MINI POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sour cream

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Cream butter, 1 cup sugar and vanilla; beat in egg yolks, then sour cream. Fold in flour mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff; gradually beat in remaining sugar until very stiff, fold into batter. Turn into a greased and floured 6-cup tube (bundt style) pan.

Bake in preheated 325 degree oven until a cake tester inserted in center is clean, 1 hour. Loosen edges and turn out to cool.
