DIABETIC COOKIES 
2/3 c. prune juice
1 c. raisins
1/4 c. butter

Combine above ingredients, bring to a boil and let cool. 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda Dash of salt 1 tsp. liquid sweetener or 1 packet of Sweet and Low.

Beat egg, then add sifted flour, soda and salt. Add boiled mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add ground nuts, if desired. Drop by teaspoons. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
