CRANBERRY CAKE 
2 c. raw cranberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. molasses
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 tbsp. grated orange rind

Combine 1/4 cup sugar with cranberries and let set while preparing batter. Cream butter with 3/4 cup sugar. Add molasses, eggs and dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Stir in nuts, cranberries, orange rind and raisins. Pour into greased tube or bundt pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes and remove and coat with glaze.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice

Heat and pour over cake.
