FROSTED APRICOT COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. apricot preserves

FROSTING:

1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. apricot preserves

Beat frosting until well blended.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter and cream cheese until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add coconut and preserves; mixing well. Drop by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool and frost.
