DAY AHEAD CAKE 
2 lg. eggs
1 c. sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 sm. Cool Whip
1 box vanilla wafers

Into a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until well blended. Add pineapple, butter, nuts, and Cool Whip. Layer in 3 1/2 quart greased casserole with vanilla wafers beginning first, then place in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Slice and serve. 8 servings.
