CHERRY MOUNTAIN PIE 
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix flour and sugar together, then add milk and vanilla. Mix together until smooth. Batter will be thin. Use a little of the butter to grease the bottom and sides of a 3 quart round baking dish. Pour batter into dish. Add cherry pie filling. Cut butter into small pieces and put on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. It's delicious served warm with a dip of vanilla ice cream.
