TOFFEE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. white sugar
2 tbsp. water

Cook over high heat until golden brown, usually 10 to 15 minutes. 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Cover cookie sheet with nuts. Pour boiled mixture over nuts. Top with chocolate chips, let stand for 1/2 a minute, spread with knife to cover. Put in freezer until cold, and break apart into pieces.
