BACON STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, about 2 inch diameter
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 slice bread, torn into sm. pieces
1 c. shredded cheese
1 (3 oz.) can Real Bacon Bits or cooked, crumbled bacon

Wipe mushrooms well with damp cloth. Remove stems and set aside caps. Chop stems. Microwave butter, stems and onions on high for 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press filling into caps; do not mound. Arrange 6 filled caps on paper plate. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes. Repeat. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
