BITS OF BRICKLE COOKIE | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Bits of Brickle (1 c.) 1 1/2 tbsp. liquid shortening 6 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. butter 6 tbsp. sugar 6 tbsp. brown sugar, packed 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour In a small bowl, mix Bits O Brickle with liquid shortening until evenly coated, then stir in 6 tablespoons flour until well coated. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add salt, baking soda and flour; mix well. Stir in coated Bits O' Brickle. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 50 (2 inch) cookies. |
