PECAN YUM YUMS 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar together; add well beaten egg yolk, flour and cinnamon, mixing well. Spread on greased baking sheet. Dough is rather stiff so you must push dough with hands until the sheet is almost covered and dough is about 1/4" thick. Glaze top with egg white to which a few drops of water has been added. Press chopped pecans into cookie dough and then sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of sugar combined. Bake about 20 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Cut into small squares while hot.
