ST. PAUL'S RICE 
1 lb. sausage
4 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. raw rice
2 env. Lipton chicken noodle soup mix
1 lg. pepper, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
1 c. celery, chopped
1 pkg. slivered almond
Paprika
Parsley

Brown sausage slowly in skillet; pour off grease. Bring 4 1/2 cups water to boil. Add rice and soup mix. When it come to second boil, time 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Do not drain.

Combine sausage, rice and soup mixture with pepper, onion and celery. Sprinkle on parsley, paprika and almonds.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour. Serves 12.
